Well…

Its the eve of my grandparents’ arrival here in Alabama. I accomplished quite a bit today. Most of my clothes are packed, as are the books and movies I’m taking with me to Michigan. I’m still waiting for boxes to pack up the books that are going in storage. I never realized that I have so much -crap-. I probably had three garbage bags full of stuff that I didn’t want: various pieces of random paper, old receipts, old CDs that I am ashamed I ever listened to. I took down all of my posters; my walls are completely bare and its bloody depressing. As much as I miss my family, there’s someone here that I’m not ready to leave. Call me selfish, but I want to be with him.

Ugh, now I’ve made this into some kind of bloody romance post, which wasn’t my intent at all. I was going to tell all of you to check out the electronica artist Ayria. She’s bloody brilliant. The music is the perfect combination of darkwave ambiance and house beats. And her lyrics are great. I have both of her full length albums and her EPs, if anybody is interested.
